A Round: The World
Camille Anderson
- . . . is a Toronto-born multi-medium creative type who was educated in fine arts at The University of Guelph. The pieces are created from a variety of materials including ink, watercolour, beeswax, fabric and beads. The works tap into a quirky corner of the brain and teeter on the fence between odd and sweet. A closer second look is required and perhaps a pair of glasses. Tiny lines and zingy bits of colour turn each work into a favourite. Original watercolour sketches are created in miniature paper circles with an age-old seal of encaustic/beeswax. Tapestries of glass beads are woven with thoughtful study of colour and design.
